How to Light Your Centre-Wick Brass Diya

Prepare your diya with care as part of your daily pooja routine.

Prepare the Bowl

Place the diya on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Add an appropriate quantity of suitable ghee or diya oil to the brass reservoir.

Position the Wick

Use a compatible cotton batti and position it through the central hollow wick holder. Ensure the wick is properly saturated with the chosen fuel, with its tip exposed above the holder.

Light the Jyoti
